'Makes Me Wonder' Experiences

DARK BLUE EYES 

I. 

    Though a person of Science,  I still believe in a greater being. This true story that I had experienced had always made me wonder if it was something spiritual or extraterrestrial. 

    For those who's reading this, FYI. I do not believe in aliens or whatsoever (though I think, I might have some experiences regarding this side of science. including this story that I am about to tell). I just thought of finally writing and publishing this because it was suddenly brought up during my Chika with my sister, after reading an Astronomy book. This is just a short story, here it goes.

   "It was a normal late night scenario for me, me reading digital e-books, while listening to a blast of music with my earphones, and then surfing the net. NORMAL NIGHT for me. Not until my window (Wooden Jalousie Type) suddenly opened, like it was pushed from the outside. Mind you, my bed was just BESIDE IT. 

    I did not right away, close it. I waited for just a few seconds before I sat to close it. Now here's the part. At the corner of that window, as I tried to close it, I saw a glowing dark blue human-like eye. Mind you, I live in small municipality in the Philippines, where blue eyed people are rare to be seen. It was not the 'sky' kind of blue, T'was more of a DARK DARK blue, but you can still see its pupil, and it was GLOWING. 

    I am not easily scared, ( I could be one of the bravest person you could know), but at that time, it felt like my soul went out of my body. It was the first time that I got scared like that. well for me, it was more of a shock, but yeah whatever~ So, now after what I saw. I jumped off my bed to turn on the light switch which just goes a few steps ( but got me to leap just once at the time). As I opened the lights, and look at the corner of my window, the eye was not there anymore. 

   As a curious kid (and brave of my own definition) I peeked to see what was that. To illustrate, outside my window was a small yard with chickens ( BUT I SWEAR, IT WAS NOT A CHICKEN'S EYE). I tried to see what was outside, normally in a moonless night, you could just see darkness, there was no lights at the backyard. But that night? the moon gleamed powerfully. Giving me a 'dawn like' view of the yard, but I saw NOTHING. 

    I am quite sure that I was fully awake, as I am used to stay up late at night. After seeing nothing, I then closed the window, and tried to find something that would stop it from opening again in case that thing might come back. Then, I went to bed, contemplated about the thing that I had saw. Ideas like 

"was that an elemental?"

"an Alien?" I do not believe in alien

"Or perhaps one of the fictional men that I like?" ⬅ I mean it could be a possibility...

had went to my mind, as I tried to find answers and explanations to what I just saw. I even tried to talk to it with my mind asking if it wanted to be friends with me, with the thought that it might be an alien, even though it would hardly be."

    Up to this day, I still seek to find an answer to that happening. Whenever conversations pass by topics like that, I would always try to tell it. And I am able to do so with a clear narration. To whatever explanations there might be behind it, I do not know if I would ever forget that experience. 

What could that be?
